Neighborly Motivation
I’ll have to admit, though I did an extensive amount of walking (much of which was in beach sand) I question if it properly offset my elevated caloric intake, especially after a visit to Yummies on the way home! To further make matters worst, I just couldn’t get out of that vacation mode once I got back still in the … Read entire article »

You Really Want This?
We’re always hearing stories about restaurants that serve extremely unhealthy foods in terms of nutrition. What’s been really helping me was a piece of advice from one of my facebook friends, she said “If you bite it, write it!” By writing down everything I eat (along with the nutritional information about it) I’m continually aware of what’s going through my system. Yes, a few things are being consumed that shouldn’t be but now I’m going to think twice before I pick up many things on my next trip to the grocery store. While nobody agrees on the perfect diet everyone agrees it’s about a … Read entire article »
Nutritional Focus Too!
I had just recently posted an article on my info blog about some recent medical discoveries found at my last physical exam. It was discovered that not only do I have a 70% blockage in my carotid arterie, but I also have “nodules” on my thyroid which were just scanned yesterday. (Results pending) So not wanting to experience a stroke anytime soon … Read entire article »

Time for a brand new start! (Yes, we can try again if things don’t work out the first time. Remember that!) It’s been a while since I’ve started this site. It got off to a great start and as with many of the best laid out plans fizzled out. After my recent physical exam and being reminded I’m not getting any younger, … Read entire article »
